My reaction to a lot of arts and crafts is, "Pfft! I could do that." So my appreciation usually runs towards things that either I couldn't come up with on my own or couldn't (i.e., don't have the talent/skill/vision to) do. I'm tickled by Richard Carpenter's Pine Needle Bears (which I found on Bears and Buds) because it combines something I would never think of with something I don't think I could do. He weaves pine needles into bears. Big, life-sized bears.
