You Are Romanticism |
You are likely to see the world as it should be, not as it is. You prefer to celebrate the great things people do... not the horrors they're capable of. For you, there is nothing more inspiring than a great hero. You believe that great art reflects the artist's imagination and true ideals. |

You Are As Cool As They Come |
Rational and relaxed, no one could accuse you of being dramatic. You roll with the punches, and nothing ever gets you too worked up. You are able to maintain perspective and see the big picture. And even if you're emotional inside, you don't let it show. You're great at keeping it together, and you're rewarded for that. People see you as an ideal friend, employee, and partner. |

How to Distinguish Speakers
CNN’s Nancy Grace and former presidential candidate and political commentator Pat Buchanan headline the 2006-07 Distinguished Speaker Series at The University of North Carolina at Pembroke.Ewwww.
I had the fortitude to scroll down and saw that if I were promoting their series it would have read, "Poet Nikki Giovanni and humorist Mo Rocca headline the 2006-07 Distinguished Speaker Series..." I'm going to guess this difference in emphasis means that the folks at UNC Pembroke are not my people.

Would you make a good business manager? The Natural Leader If you want to move up the ranks, you probably have what it takes to make that climb! You're creative, assertive, and empathetic. You easily draw groups together and enjoy heading them up. Most promissing, you enjoy bringing out the best in others. You have high expectations of them - possibly higher than they have of themselves - and you're prepared to do what it takes to help them realize that potential. Just be mindful not to let more superficially forceful characters push you out of the way. |

Neopets
Thanks to Pam from Beancounters I've got a new Neopet. You can visit Leilani_57 at her webpage. How cool is that? And in a weird karmic coincidence the Neopet came up with stats that the real Leilani would probably find fitting. Super speedy!!
'Scuse me, I gotta go feed my new pet.

Hero, n. a person who, in the opinion of others, has heroic qualities or has performed a heroic act and is regarded as a model or ideal
I can't offically do this, since I am not the great Stephen "Truthiness" Colbert, but I call on you Stephen, to put Dubya ON NOTICE.I find it hard to believe that Stephen will miss the fact that a hot, intelligent, progressive woman called him the great Stephen "Truthiness" Colbert. I see a Colbert Report guest spot coming up. A little suggestion for you, Leilani, is that when he runs over and mentions that post you should tell him you meant "greatest."
The thing I can't believe is that I see the possibility of going to a race in my future so that I can meet her. Amazing. She's definitely expanding the demographic of racing fans. I admire her for the same reason I've always said my favorite chick flicks are Aliens, T-2, and Cutthroat Island. Strong women rock.
