The Phantom Menace

How nice that on Halloween they would provide us with a new spectre to haunt our dreams. Darth Alito. The Los Angeles Times assures us that an "epic battle is expected." The Washington Post says that this pick is sure to rally the GOP. And the USA Today, America's gold standard for inoffensive news and the official newspaper of Generica (is there a hotel that DOESN'T stick this under your door?), printed a variety of opinions but labeled the article "Nominee Signals Step Backwards."

Meanwhile, I guess we know how Aaron McGruder felt about the Miers nomination...
